YPSILANTI, MI -- Around 90 students were in attendance for Ypsilanti Community’s ‘Great Gatsby’ themed prom at the Washtenaw Golf Club on Saturday, May 10.
Featured at the prom was an arrangement of food and beverages, a dance floor and a red carpet entrance for students to show off their outfits as they walked into the prom.
Two prom kings and queens were announced at the end of the night for Ypsilanti Community High School and the Ypsilanti Achieving College and Career Education program.
Khamonte Green and Na’Veyah Malone were announced as prom king and queen for Ypsilanti Achieving College and Career Education while JaeDion Atkins and SaNaria Collins were prom king and queen for Ypsilanti Community High School.
